Sales and Business Development

We're looking to grow a team of people that can work together to bring our product to the masses. You will work directly with our Founding team as we deliver all aspects of the customer lifecycle. We want people that are self starters and innovative. You will be selling multiple technologies and integration opportunities, so being emotionally intelligent is critical. 

We have a long-term vision, but in order to get there, we need to focus on deploying solutions rapidly.

What's on offer?

We're looking for a sales person to support our Founder and strategic partners. We believe in subject matter experts driving the conversation, so be prepared to become a leader in all things direct to consumer marketing, track & trace and brand protection.

Skills & Requirements

Our core product mix is made up of both hardware and software elements. Your experience selling strategic solutions will need to be on show. Experience in the wine industry, or SaaS sales (whilst not essential) would be a huge bonus. That said, if you're an individual who can learn, adapt and master new knowledge quickly, then we clearly want to hear from you.


Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to Assess marketing opportunities and define target markets (with our Marketing Specialist)

  • Proficient in intelligence gathering on customers (and competitors)

  • Generating your own leads for potential sales

  • Superior closing skills for all the supplied leads from our network and partners

  • Advising on, drafting and enforcing sales policies and processes

  • Persistent follow-up techniques to enhance your sales activity

  • Pipeline management and reporting to senior management (via CRM)

  • Ability to create attractive, formal proposals for prospects

  • Outstanding Presentation and pitching skills

  • Have a visible and active presence within new business meetings and throughout the sales cycle

  • Achieve sales targets by identifying and gaining new business through a sustained program of cold calling, following up of referrals/leads and networking while keeping abreast of competitors sales strategies

  • Prepare sales plans and schedules to identify specific targets and the potential solutions required for their business

  • Develop and maintain sales materials 

  • Develop and maintain product knowledge

  • Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships

  • A strong desire for innovation and quality

  • Exceptional documentation

  • We’re building our base in South Australia,  so you need to be local to give us feet on the ground

  • Able to interview immediately.

What we'd love to see from you:

  • A good understanding of what customer experience looks like, so we can make ours even better

  • An ability to work with and understand a variety of tech layers and systems (NFC/RFID, Slack, Hubspot, Jira etc)

  • Strong organisational and planning skills

  • The ability to execute priorities quickly using good decision-making skills

  • Thoughtful communication
